Past Projects

Launches include Environmental Justice Corps (Buffalo, NY), Reading Climate Corps (Reading, PA), and PowerCorpsBOS (Boston, MA).

Environmental Justice Corps, Buffalo, NY

In its second year, PowerCorpsPHL partnered with Buffalo Sewer Authority to design the first two of seven industry academies, creating career pathways that will grow as the partnership evolves.

DRCC, Delaware River Climate Corps

The DRCC launched or supported the growth of 12 corps across four states up and down the Delaware River Watershed. PowerCorpsPHL served on the technical assistance team to provide support in program strategy, equity-centered workforce development, and trauma-informed practice.

PowerCorpsBOS

In its first 3 years of programming, PowerCorpsBOS has successfully graduated three cohorts, engaged 150 young adults in paid training experience, developed three distinct industry academies, and provided thousands of hours of service to the community of Boston.

Reading Climate Corps

PowerCorpsPHL deployed its model to create the Reading Climate Corps in Reading, PA in 2022. In its founding year the program received full support from local government and community organizations, and received a commendation from City Council.
